Who: Us Where: In our heads, while consuming news feeds When: Every day What: Daily dose of populism In this Lynchesque-absurd performance, a room is the protagonist. It is a symbol and miniature of our inner life. And it is irritated.
Through external influences – specifically, through populist politics, which shouts at people from various media and courts them – space is distorted and misused.
Supported by music and Foley art, the space develops a life of its own: What is being swept under the rug? What do the walls look like behind the wallpaper? What's happening outside the window, and can the curtains simply be closed? Words still fall – populism-inspired text surfaces constantly rattle against the panes of our resonating chamber from outside and slowly force their way through the cracks in the masonry.
