Hardy Krischkowsky plays PINK FLOYD
The Crazy Diamond among Pink Floyd tribute bands. When Hardy and Roger Waters met, he had the idea of bringing Pink Floyd's music to big stages.
Equipped with Waters' spirit, Hardy founded Gilmour Project in 2010 and, as a four-piece, thrilled large audiences in Berlin and throughout Germany. After founding the 11-piece Pink Floyd tribute band "La Valleé" and performing gigantic shows with lights, lasers, and video installations, and realizing that this didn't reflect the era of early Pink Floyd, the idea of a classic four-man lineup in the style and charm of the 70s was born.
With over 40 years of musical experience, the well-known East German guitarist and former promoter (including "Kelly Family," "E.L.O") Hardy Krischkowsky (guitar, vocals) didn't need much convincing: with Berlin bassist Gregor Avinarius ("The Clogs"), drummer Jörg Riebesell ("Eternal Floyd"), and organist Martin Zitzmann ("Bad Attitude," "Purple Callas"), the idea was put into practice in 2022, resulting in the new Gilmour Project, one of the most interesting Pink Floyd tribute bands of recent years.
Outstanding musicians from various genres, who, with "Gilmour Project," present a synthesis of all Pink Floyd's creative eras with relaxed attention to detail and originality that mesmerizes both knowledgeable audiences and young fans: Book this band now, whose experience, skill, and a consistently unique setlist transform the club into a cathedral of hypnotic soundscapes and create an incredibly intimate atmosphere at their concerts – "Gilmour Project" is the passionate echo of these immortal icons.
