Prussia's Court Music, the chamber orchestra series of the Staatskapelle Berlin, has been in existence for over two decades and is primarily dedicated to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The focus is not only on composers and works closely linked to the history of the Staatsoper and the Staatskapelle, but also on a deeper exploration of this musical era.

The current season focuses on the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, particularly on works from his early and middle creative periods. In Salzburg and on his travels through Europe, Mozart attentively absorbed the musical trends of his time and understood how to creatively incorporate them into his own work.

In addition, the famous Italian gambist and ensemble leader Vittorio Ghielmi will be a guest at Prussia's Court Music for a weekend with a program by the Italian Baroque composer Agostino Steffani.

Audiences can therefore expect an exciting and diverse season with Prussia's Court Music.
