Expert tour with Sylva van der Heyden, project staff member for provenance research of the FPSG permanent loans

April 9, 2025, is International Day for Provenance Research. Glienicke Palace would like to use this occasion to draw attention to the research into the collection history and object biographies within the palace itself.

Since 1987, Glienicke Palace has housed a large number of works of art acquired by the Association of Friends of Prussian Palaces and Gardens. As part of a project funded by the German Lost Art Foundation, the provenances of the permanent loans from the "Friends" are currently being researched.

Together with provenance researcher Sylva van der Heyden, participants will examine selected works of art in the palace rooms and explore their origins and (former) ownership.
