Immersive 3D sound, violin and electronics, a powerful sound system, incredible church acoustics, and audience participation! Get ready for a head-spinning auditory adventure!
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a sonic wonderland, summoned into existence by two Berlin-based sound artists: Alexey Kochetkov aka 5 String Theory, who experiments with violin and electronics, and Andrey Bundin who explores immersive sound technologies.
Inspired by Shakespeare’s timeless tale, they reimagine and transform it into an enchanting listening experience that sweeps the audience away on a whimsical sound journey.
The concert will take place in the Tabor Church, built in 1905 and located in Wrangelkiez, Kreuzberg.
The church building sustained only minor damage after the end of the Second World War, with the interior almost entirely preserved. The unique setting and outstanding acoustics of the church, add an extra layer to this concert experience.
