In:spiration – Contemporary Music for Recorder
Inspiration is breath and breathing; the beginning, soul, and end of life – and hardly any instrument exposes itself to this elemental force more radically than the recorder in its naked fragility. The current compositions in the program present and reflect different artistic paths and milestones of musical inspiration.
