“A Creator and A Being All in One” is a poem about lineage, womanhood, queerness and cultural & ethnic oppression. It carries a lot of elements of biomythography and confessional poetry. The spoken word piece will be followed by an original song.

Berfusra
Berfusra is a genderfluid performance artist whose work focuses on identity politics, using live vocal performances, movement, theatrical expression and poetry. Their performances revolve around honesty, vulnerability and storytelling.
The subjects include race, immigration, womanhood, queerness, gender trouble, class struggle, love & loss, longing, sex, desire and complex trauma. Through radical openness and using their personal experiences as material, they reach a point of vulnerability that is empowering and moving.
