Nuclear weapons could destroy us all, right now - so why aren't people talking about it? Sometimes the danger becomes visible - like when Russia invades Ukraine - but that doesn't make the weapons any more dangerous. They are always dangerous. And one day, whether intentionally or inadvertently, they will be used again.
From the team behind award-winning performances Status and Confirmation comes a show about a new nuclear weapons treaty - one that gives states and people who don't have nuclear weapons the power to eliminate them.
It's a show and a conversation. They talk about where they are, where they live and why it's important that people talk about it at all.
"Talking about the fire" was created by seven-time First Fringe winners Chris Thorpe and Claire O'Reilly (Abbey Theatre) and brought to the stage together with Tony Award winner and director Rachel Chavkin.
