Even if some of the problems that resulted from the rigid, stuffy sexual morality around 1900 and that drove Wedekind's young heroes to their deaths have been overcome today, it remains a difficult time for every generation. Hardship and happiness lie close together and are always new. This evening will tell of this. Heaven high and hell low.
