Castle tour and organ concert
The Paretz country palace was built at the end of the 18th century for King Frederick William III and Queen Luise. Far from courtly etiquette, far from the pomp and pageantry of the Prussian residential city of Berlin, they enjoyed a "bourgeois" family life here in the country. Pastimes included excursions into the Havelland landscape, making music, theater performances and popular parlor games.
This event begins with a special guided tour of the highlights of the furnishings in the royal apartment.
Afterwards Tobias Segsa, organist and church musician, will play the Concerto in A minor (J.S. Bach - A. Vivaldi) BWV 593 on the organ in the Paretz church. Before the concert, guests are invited to a small refreshment.
