Gastspiel aus Istanbul
Sar, a dance performance by Mihran Tomasyan and Saro Usta, tells a story of struggle, alienation and hope. It revolves around the relationship between the body and an earth which is transformed over the course of the dance – from an invisible beginning through the imposing form of Mount Ararat to the point of collapse. A symbol of the uprooting and loss facing Armenians.
