Die Pfaueninsel an der Wannsee-Babelsberg Route
The name alone conjures up wanderlust and holiday feelings. As you walk across the island, which has been a nature reserve since 1924, impressive views of the cultural landscape open up. There is the newly renovated, gleaming white palace (outside viewing), the idyllic natural surroundings and, of course, the free-roaming peacocks to discover. The island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
