bücking&kröger
PRACTICE by bücking&kröger is a choreographic work about practice. Two dancers deal with techniques of repetition and practice and circle around questions of virtuosity and body techniques as coping strategies.
How have certain movement techniques become inscribed in the body? How did people become what they are, how do movement techniques trained over decades influence and how do they determine artistic practice?
Florian Bücking and Raisa Kröger use physical exercises to search for perfection and personal resilience of the body - and at the same time are aware of permanent failure and physical vulnerability that cannot be trained away.
