European identity in transition: Conflict as reflected in drama
The International Directors and Dramaturgy Lab "Focal Point“ (Ger.: "Sammelpunkt", Russ.: "Точка сборки") explores artistic, historical, and contemporary reflections in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Within the theatre project, seven work-in-progress performances will be developed by theater makers from Germany and Eastern European countries. These performances, presented in English or German, will be presented to the public on February 22 and 23, 2025, at Theater Strahl.
As one of the first attempts at dialogue in the cultural sector since February 2022, this Lab aims to create a platform for artists and cultural professionals from different countries who wish to express their views on the historically significant European situation.
