Portraits of the queer art scene
As part of the Queer Artists exhibition, photographer Jörg Dedering presents a new series of portraits dedicated to queer artists.
With striking images, he tells the stories of people who have often had to leave their homes to escape discrimination and oppression due to their sexual identity.
The series highlights the importance of queer artists for a diverse and vibrant art scene and takes a clear stand against right-wing extremism and intolerance. With his personal and expressive portraits, Dedering is sending a message in favour of diversity and acceptance.
