Gunkl. He is the Austrian "philosopher among cabaret artists" who entangles himself and his enraptured audience in increasingly crazy thought loops with his wonderfully sonorous voice. With relish and mischievous delight in linguistic finesse, Gunkl guides us into his bizarre world of thoughts. The passionate stage person impresses with minimalist aesthetics and, incidentally, is also a great musician.
