Liebermann's works and their paths
Where do the works shown in the Liebermann Villa actually come from? The privately run house relies on generous support from private individuals. The museum is repeatedly offered works by Max Liebermann as new permanent loans, so that it can change and rearrange the exhibition a little bit, making every subsequent visit worthwhile.
From February 1 to May 12, the Liebermann Villa is dedicated to individual donations and permanent loans, as well as Max Liebermann's letters. In this In Focus exhibition, it looks at individual family histories and follows the paths of the works until they came to Wannsee.
