When the sophisticated genre of shoegazing is mentioned, the name Ride inevitably comes up. The British band is one of the pioneers of this dreamy, nostalgic rock subgenre. Their debut album "Nowhere", released in 1990, is still celebrated today as a groundbreaking work of shoegaze and also marked the band's breakthrough.
Numerous other albums followed, most recently "Interplay", which was released at the end of March this year. This album is the first to show a departure from the band's typical guitar sound towards a more electronic soundscape.
In May 2025, Ride will go on tour with "Interplay" and will also stop in Berlin.
