A horror story with music based on a novel by George Orwell

In the Swiss Rhine Valley, a fairytale land par excellence, animals have taken over the reins on a remote farm. Freed from humans, they set the tone and create a new society in which everyone should be equally well off. But as soon as everyone is equal, some are more equal than others.

Bittersweet Swiss songs, farces, folk dances and absurd choreographies sharpen the view of the supposedly fairytale-like nature of Orwell's novel. At the same time, the children's story, which at first glance seems harmless, turns out to be a tough, satirical indictment of totalitarian systems.
