Museum Sunday no longer exists, but Family Sunday at Spandau Citadel does! Interested parties are invited to visit Spandau Citadel free of charge on this day and stroll around the grounds, take part in guided tours or go on the free scavenger hunt with their family.
On this day, visitors should have the opportunity to get to know the offers and use them free of charge.
On this day, there is a varied program at the Citadel:
2 p.m.: Tour of the exhibition On Sharing - Art on the (Polish-German) Border with some of the participating artists and the curators Burcu Dogramaci and Marta Smolinska in the ZAK Center for Contemporary Art
2 p.m.: Reading for children aged four and over: "The Story of the Little Fish Blitzi". The reading takes place in the Kronprinz Bastion.
3:00 p.m.: Tour of the exhibition O Futuro Ja Era by the Goethe Institute Luanda / Angola with Matthias Hinke in the ZAK Center for Contemporary Art
3:00 p.m.: Every first Sunday of the month we invite kids aged 4 and up with their siblings, friends, grandparents and parents to activities in the museums and exhibitions of the citadel. After a tour of the exhibition, creative work takes place in the education and communication room. The meeting point is in the entrance area of the citadel.
3:30 p.m.: Tour of his exhibition The Symmetry of the Dancing Opossum with the media artist Harald Fuchs in the ZAK Center for Contemporary Art
In addition, an English tour of the citadel and a scenic tour of the citadel are offered at 2 p.m. for a tour fee of €4.50 each.
