Music for strings by Bach, Pachelbel, Grieg, Mozart and Vivaldi
For 25 years, the Festival Orchestra Berlin, a multicultural association of musicians from leading European orchestras, has delighted audiences with its repertoire of the Baroque, Viennese Classicism and Romanticism, supplemented by musical rarities. The orchestra plays on old Italian instruments and thus guarantees an outstandingly beautiful sound.
There are several "Bachians" within the ensemble who will present the most beautiful Bach works in this New Year's Eve concert. Pieces by Pachelbel and Grieg as well as the Salzburg Symphonies by Mozart will also be heard with vitality and playfulness. In the second part, the orchestra will ring in the end of the year with Antonio Vivaldi's "Winter" from the Four Seasons.
Admission 1/2 hour before the start.
