Duo Shiluv
Romantic songs by Franz Schubert, Clara Schumann, Fanny Hensel and others meet modern works such as Michaela Catranis' "Von Liebe und Tod" (2022) as well as pieces composed especially for them by Udi Perlman and Clemens Wolf.
The name "Shiluv", Hebrew for fusion and combination, is their guiding principle: They find connections between different acoustic landscapes - explore how classical and contemporary music can complement each other and be experienced anew. Their own arrangements and interpretations create new sound spaces in which tradition and the present enrich each other.
Timeless themes of Romanticism form the framework of the evening: love, longing for the unattainable, the soul of nature.
