Victor Nicoara is a Romanian pianist and composer who lives in Berlin. He has been working on the work of Ferruccio Busoni for many years.

He writes about Busoni's music: "Busoni's music impressed me deeply from the very first moment, so in my musical practice I have always tried to make his works known to a wider audience. I believe that he was much more than his reputation as an arranger and piano virtuoso: he was above all a brilliant composer who knew how to merge historical musical traditions with experiments from the early 20th century without ever submitting to any of the known forms."
