Textile workshop for kids and accompanying adults

The participants experiment with threads and fabric scraps freely in the room: the so-called warp and weft threads stretch between the walls, ceiling, chairs and the participants. A wild web is created together in the forest room of the Brücke Museum.

Weaving is a craft activity that can create a lot of joy through the experience of self-efficacy and immediate results. In this workshop, the participants approach weaving in a playful way with the help of warp threads that are stretched criss-cross through the free space and can be transformed into a textile surface with self-made weft threads. Participants are welcome to bring fabrics or fabric scraps with them for this purpose.
