Guided tour of the acoustic rooms of the State Institute for Music Research
The perception of music is an important research topic at the State Institute for Music Research. Experiments on this take place in two rooms, the reverberation room and the low-reflection room. What happens to the sound in these rooms and how it affects people is explained and tried out during the tour.

The SIM's recording studio has a 24-track tape machine and a state-of-the-art digital mixer. It is used for live recordings of concerts, among other things. In recent years it has been fundamentally modernized and now has a dedicated data network (Dante) for real-time audio data transmission and much more.
