live in Berlin this summer @ Citadel Music Festival

Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Glen Matlock from the legendary punk band Sex Pistols are back - and they have none other than Frank Carter on board, the charismatic frontman of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, who themselves have long since made punk history.

The Sex Pistols need no introduction: almost 50 years after their formation, they are still considered one of the most influential punk bands of all time.

School friends Steve Jones and Paul Cook founded the band, and thanks to their notorious manager Malcolm McLaren, bassist Glen Matlock and singer John Lydon, better known as Johnny Rotten, joined them. After a few small gigs, they signed a contract with EMI Records. But after the release of their debut single "Anarchy in the U.K." and a scandalous appearance on the Today Show, the label terminated the contract.

They suffered a similar fate at A&M Records, until Virgin Records finally struck. With the release of "God Save The Queen" in 1977, the Sex Pistols became world famous overnight. Their only album, "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols," became a milestone in punk rock.

But the success story did not last long: just one year later, after a chaotic tour of the USA and internal conflicts, the band broke up. However, their influence on the music scene remained unbroken. Although they were not the first of their kind, the Sex Pistols shaped the genre and made it known worldwide. Almost every punk band after them cites them as an inspiration. Their style, both musically and fashionably, set standards that still have an impact today.

After reunion tours in 1996, 2002 and 2008, the band went quiet - until the summer of 2024. Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Glen Matlock rekindled the old punk energy for three charity concerts in aid of the London concert venue Bush Hall. Since a reconciliation with John Lydon was out of the question after years of disputes, they joined forces with Frank Carter, who shaped a new generation of British punk fans.

Together they played the entire album "Never Mind The Bollocks" - and thrilled both old and new fans. The fresh energy that Frank Carter brought made the iconic songs seem more powerful than ever. Anyone who was in the mosh pit will not soon forget these concerts!

For all fans who were unable to get tickets, there is now reason to look forward to it:

After more than 40 years of music history, they are still bursting with energy - an event that no punk fan should miss.
