Black Country Communion is a captivating supergroup that combines the extraordinary talents of Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Trapeze), blues-rock guitar icon Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Sammy Hagar, Foreigner) and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Sons of Apollo).

Their powerful rock sound is deeply rooted in the British and American tradition of classic hard and blues rock.

The creative core of the band lies in the collaboration between Hughes and Bonamassa, which also laid the foundation for the formation of Black Country Communion. With the support of producer Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden), who has led the band's studio work from the beginning and is considered the "silent fifth member", Jason Bonham came on board to shape the initial project into a serious band. Shortly afterwards, keyboardist Sherinian joined to ensure that the band was not just perceived as a "hard rock power trio".

The band made a powerful impression on the rock scene with their self-titled debut album. The album laid the foundation for what would also characterize their subsequent works - "2" (2011), "Afterglow" (2012), "BCCIV" (2017) and "V" (2024).

Although the albums are successful worldwide, organizing tours is a major challenge - especially because of Bonamassa's extremely successful solo career. In the band's 15-year history, only a few major tours could be realized, and at times this problem even led to the band breaking up. It is all the more gratifying that Black Country Communion is finally going on a major European tour again next summer - including three unforgettable concerts in Germany.
