Did you know that most of the famous Christmas songs from "White Christmas" to "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" were written by Jews? Or that Theodor Herzl lit candles on the Christmas tree for his children?

This year, the Jewish festival of lights, Hanukkah, falls during the Christmas season - and so the MS Goldberg invites you to a glittering "Weihnukka" special.

The program includes Hanukkah classics such as "Maos Zur" and "Jewish" Christmas jingles such as "Winter Wonderland", but also jazzy evergreens by Jewish-American composers and lyricists such as "The Man I Love".

There are also a few "Chrismukkah" stories and anecdotes about the evening's songwriters such as Irving Berlin and Jonny Marks - and mulled wine and sufganiot at the bar.

Julie Wolff (vocals), Jotham Bleiberg (trumpet/flugelhorn), Daniel Stawinski (piano), Judith Kessler (narrator).
