Initiate New Year's Eve with atmospheric brass music on the steps of the historic town hall entrance: Brass players from Protestant parishes play cheerful and contemplative music in front of the Reinickendorf town hall tower and it resounds far beyond the heads of the listening visitors.

District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner will give a New Year's address and the superintendent of the Protestant church district, Thomas Harms, will give people spiritual New Year's wishes.
Above all, brass music will be played with "European" pieces of music, with works from pop, rock and classical music, traditional folk music and international and spiritual pieces.
Hundreds of people have come to the town hall in previous years for the New Year's Eve tower blowing, some even from the northern surrounding area, and since 2022 the tradition, which had previously been interrupted for a few years, has lived on.
