The memory of a coffee enjoyed together has bonded us for 40 years - this Anatolian proverb was the inspiration behind the naming of Forty Years. And delicious coffee isn't the only thing you'll be served by siblings Merve and Cemal in Graefekiez. The menu includes sourdough sandwiches, shakshuka, granola, Turkish poached eggs and French toast. There are also lots of delicious sweet and savoury snacks and original mocha from the traditional pot. You're guaranteed to remember this breakfast in 40 years' time.

A lively bar in the evening, one of the best places to go for brunch in Neukölln at the weekend. The story of brunch at Geist im Glas began in 2012, when barkeeper Aishah missed the hot English breakfast with bacon and eggs. The limited space in the kitchen led to a few adaptations and interpretations. But the result is a brunch that will fill you up for the day and is considered one of the best hangover cures in Neukölln. The delicious cocktails and drinks from the bar are of course also available for brunch on request.
