The South Terrain Nature Park invites park visitors young and old to experience the winter magic of Advent. Every Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can expect Christmas fairy tales, music, sound installations, magical lights and fabulous luminous figures.
Light and sound installations give the park a festive atmosphere - without the hustle and bustle of classic Christmas markets. Shining stars create a festive atmosphere throughout the park. The candle labyrinth, which was designed by visitors, will once again make the nature park shine this year.
To become part of the candle labyrinth, all visitors are encouraged to bring candles in glasses.
In the secret garden “Giardino Segreto”, floristry offers such as making wreaths invite you to participate and some stalls invite you to browse for Christmas gift ideas. At the baumschlau e.V. stand, all children can send their Christmas wish mail directly to Santa Claus.
Storyteller Birgit Hägele creates magical moments at the water tower when she awakens the imagination of little park visitors with the fairy tales of Knecht Ruprecht, the Snow Queen from Lorraine and the Christmas rose, a Christmas fairy tale from the far north.
On both Advent weekends, the artist collective TAPE OVER creates imaginative works of art made of adhesive tape in a live performance in the Natur Park Südgelände. If you want to get creative yourself, you can try out the young art form yourself directly on site with guidance.
The Café Parsüd at the Brückenmeisterei ensures the physical and warming well-being of guests young and old. The events are included in park admission.
• Bright Advent with a colorful participation program for young and old
