In autumn 2024, Richard Hawley will tour Germany. These performances offer his German fans the rare opportunity to experience the British artist live. For Hawley, it is another chance to present his characteristic mix of melody and melancholy to a wider audience and to further explore the boundaries of pop music.

Before Richard Hawley released his first solo album in 2000, he was a member of the bands Treebound Story and Longpigs. He then accompanied Pulp on tours. In the late 1990s, on the advice of Jarvis Cocker, he began to pursue his solo career.

With the single "Baby, You're My Light" from his second album, he made it into the British charts for the first time in 2002. His commercial breakthrough finally came in 2007 with the album "Lady's Bridge", whose single "Tonight the Streets Are Ours" reached number 40 in the charts and was used as the soundtrack for Banksy's film "Exit Through the Gift Shop".
