On September 1 of each year, Ben Wagin commemorated the beginning of the Second World War with an event. On Sunday, September 1, 2024, friends will continue his thoughts in the Parliament of Trees against War and Violence.

Together with the Baumpatenverein e.V., the Berlin Wall Foundation invites you to a program of music, performance, texts, films and installation.
Singer MFA Kera, guitarist Mike Russell and percussionist Famson Akinola will provide the musical backdrop. There will also be a performance by Reem Alfahad. Hermann Treusch reads and is accompanied by Till Schwabenbauer on the clarinet. Uwe Bohrer will be showing films by and about Ben Wagin and artist Alin A. Cowan presents her installation.
