workshop for adults in the Druckgraphik Atelier
Participants will create simple or - for advanced students - already existing motifs in linocut, or set a few lines in lead type. The print will be made on the covers of small booklets that will be bound at the end of the workshop.

Two different ways of binding booklets or booklets will be shown. With the quicker of the two techniques, a large number of booklets can be made in a very short time. Participants will take home sketchbooks they have made themselves.
Workshop programme:
Saturday, 14.12.2024, 13:00 - 18:00 hrs
- Introduction, transferring the design onto the linoleum plate; or setting lead typesetting, folding the cover paper, printing on the proofing press, folding the paper for the inner part.
- Introduction to bookbinding techniques, binding the folded sheets (layers)
Material: One linoleum plate (Din A6) per person is included in the workshop price, additional plates can be purchased on site. Paper for binding two booklets is also included. Additional paper can be purchased on site. Paper can also be brought along. Consumables (paint, thinner etc.) are included in the workshop price. Tools will be provided.
Participants: 6 to 8 people
Costs: 85 Euro (incl. 19% VAT) per person
