Curator's tour for the Open Monument Day
The grounds of the Berlin Wall Memorial contain numerous traces of the division of Germany and elements of the former border fortifications. The collection curator of the Berlin Wall Foundation will guide you through the non-public outdoor depot, the "Lapidarium".
She will explain how wall remains from all over Berlin, original parts of the blown-up Church of Reconciliation, a border guard tower and numerous other objects are preserved and researched.
The Lapidarium is only partially accessible.
