On the free admission Sunday, the Ephraim-Palais Museum becomes a meeting place for chess enthusiasts.

Why do some people enjoy chess for their entire lives? And is it still "in"? Immerse yourself in the exciting world of chess, where kings and queens, knights and rooks, bishops and pawns compete to beat the opposing king - to "checkmate" him, as the technical term goes. Experienced players will teach you the secrets of this "game of kings".

Beginners are introduced to and explained the game with its diverse pieces and the 64-square board. Those who can already play chess will meet interesting opponents here. Everyone can get started right away and compete against each other, whether sitting at the table or standing at the large chess set.

With the kind support of SC Borussia Lichtenberg e.V.
