Premiere reading of the long poems
"Potenz." satirizes binary narratives, "fichtensterben" confronts the consequences of climate change. The long poems by Victoria Hohmann will be read by the author and Finnish-born actress Meri Koivisto, complemented by visuals.

The multimedia reading introduces OFFBEAT Publishing, a publishing project founded in 2024 that emerged from the VHV publishing house, which had to cease operations in 2023 for economic reasons. OFFBEAT includes the podcast "Beans & Books" about bookmaking.
The evening will be hosted by Andreas Vierheller.
Victoria Hohmann is an author, multimedia poet, text artist, publisher and podcaster. She studied performing arts, art history (M.A.), literature and archaeology. In 2017 she founded VHV-Verlag für Gegenwartsliteratur in Berlin, which published anthologies and short texts by contemporary authors, and in 2024 the OFFBEAT-Publishing label.
Meri Koivisto is a Finnish-born actress who has lived in Berlin since 2000. She works in theater productions (Wort und Herzschlag, Theater neben dem Turm) and TV productions (Schloss Einstein).
Andreas Vierheller is a media designer and has had his own agency in Berlin-Kreuzberg since 2011. After work, he does publisher branding and runs the podcast Beans & Books together with Victoria.
