In 2020, Mia Wray released her first hit, "Work For Me." Her powerful and angry voice can be heard in large parts of the song, accompanied by a pounding beat and some brass. With "Work For Me," Wray expressed her message clearly and powerfully.

It is important to emphasize that Mia Wray's success did not come out of nowhere. She had already been singing blues and soul for several years and performing in bars and clubs.

But this combination of soul and anger in "Work For Me" laid the foundation for her emerging career. Since then, the artist has developed musically towards pop and bedroom pop, but without forgetting her origins. Her rousing, expansive pop songs, accompanied by her soulful vocals, are bigger and more diverse today.

Her EP "Stay Awake" was an impressive testament to her gained self-confidence, which was particularly heard in her singles "Delete" and "Tell Her."

In 2024, the new single "What If" was released, in which the Australian weighs up her strong feelings for someone in a pros and cons list - and ultimately decides in favor of the relationship. This track also lives from Mia Wray's power and joy in music. In September she will be coming back to Berlin for a show.
