Baroque Orchestra Aris & Aulis, Berlin Cathedral Choir, Adrian Büttemeier

Rejoice, be glad! - Bach's Christmas Oratorio for children (Cantatas I-III). Bach's Christmas Oratorio retold in a version for children aged four to nine.

"A long time ago, a composer, someone who writes music, was so happy about the Christ Child that he wanted to tell us the story again in his music. And this music is so beautiful that it is still often played at Christmas today. The story begins in a field, at night..."

In the fresh and humorous story, the first three parts of the Christmas Oratorio are shortened and particularly vivid musical examples are included, which, in addition to the story, convey the musical instruments and their characteristics to the children in an unorthodox way.
