The jazz trio, with the soulful saxophone of Gianni Gagliardi, accompanied by James Banner on the double bass and Martin Iannaccone on the drums, interprets unforgettable jazz compositions by legends such as Sonny Rollins, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Green and Tadd Dameron.
Pure swing and calypso grooves!
The line-up with saxophone, double bass and drums was also a popular format in the 60s. The lack of piano or guitar creates more space for the musicians, the double bass and drums more freedom of movement and perfectly complements the harmonious approach of the tenor saxophone.
If it rains, the concert will take place in the library.
