The Berlin saxophonist Tina Tandler is one of the most famous musicians in the country. When she spreads out her musical palette, the saxophone shines in all its tones. Her "playing field" ranges from the spherical sound journey in the cathedral to the pounding blues in the truck workshop, from large festival appearances to small club concerts.

At the summer festival in the Mark Twain Library, Tina Tandler and her wonderful band will play her own and well-known favorite pieces, wonderful saxophone songs: powerful and tender, exuberant and sometimes melancholically beautiful. The musician not only impresses with her extraordinary saxophone sound, but also with her very own way of making music an experience.

And even when the saxophone is the focus, there is always room for her top-class musical colleagues. You will be surprised!

  • Tina Tandler – saxophone, accordion, vocals
