On their new album "Vitamin D", Cousin Kula presents a sound that is unmistakable yet refreshingly new. If their debut album "Double Dinners" was the soundtrack to heartbreak, "Vitamin D" is the sound of falling in love again. This feeling is reflected in the warm horns, the carefree groove and the band's powerful cry of "Summers coming!"

With their second effort, Cousin Kula have expanded their musical repertoire while learning to sit back in the groove. Funk and disco have permeated their psychedelic indie soul sound, and for the best. Their calm pop combines different but harmonious elements.
