“There’s a worm in the organ”

The whole family is invited when the worm is loose in the Church of the Redeemer on September 1, 2024. The organ worm Willibald is a guest and has a few surprises in store: he bursts in in the middle of an organ piece and pretends to be a contemporary of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Together with the organist Manuel Gera, he designs the program in an amusing way, tells of the most important stages in Bach's life and explains "in passing" what fugues have to do with spinach and that Bach did not compose everything that is attributed to him.

It is explained very clearly how an organ works.

Organ worm Willibald is supported by the two church musicians Anne-Katrin
and Manuel Gera.
