Julius Fischer and David Weber met in 2018 on a fresh spring day in Leipzig. While Fischer "can still remember well," Weber looks back and speaks of "the most beautiful moment in my life."

Six years later, the two are now on stage together for a musical duo evening at the ufaFabrik. The wonderful title of the event, "The Stud of Reconciliation," has "really no connection to the content at all," Weber admits ruefully. "It's just a very beautiful title," explains Fischer with tears in his eyes.

Julius Fischer is a musician, author and presenter, two-time German-speaking champion in poetry slam, father, son and human. He plays the guitar and piano and sings wonderfully. "It is fortunate for all of us that this angel was cast out of heaven because he sometimes used cheeky words," Weber praises Fischer's vulgar side.

David Weber plays the piano and sings songs with humor and a good dose of absurdity. His pieces range from the very small (love) to the very big themes (household). His last program "Storno All Night Long" was praised for its great inventiveness, musical beauty and a touch of madness.

At the Gestüt der Versöhnung the two will sing their most beautiful songs.
