Learning to shape the future
In the two-day workshop, you will quickly learn about mindsets and methods at the interface between futurology and design thinking. You will become future designers in order to think about and design futures both creatively and critically. Although everyone cannot predict the future, they can work together to find out how they want to help shape their future today. Here we show you how!

You will learn to identify trends, evaluate them and combine them into desirable future scenarios. You will also develop your vision for the future as a story, visualize it and share it with others. And you will design an individual future object to make your vision tangible. Based on a current challenge, you will develop innovative solution ideas on the way to your future.
The methods used can be used individually or in combination in a variety of ways, for example in strategy development, in the design of manufacturing processes from the user's perspective or in discussions in professional or private contexts.
WORKSHOP ORGANIZATION
The Berlin Ideas Lab is a laboratory for transformation design. The team supports organizations in the design process of sustainable product and service innovations as well as desirable future images using methods of futurology, design thinking and visual storytelling.

- Thursday, August 8th, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, August 9th, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The compact workshop lasts two days and can only be booked as a whole.

- Conditions of participation: no previous knowledge required
- Duration: 2 days (10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 60-minute lunch break)
- Food and drinks can be purchased in the Futurium Restaurant
- Recommended age: 16 years and older
