Sonic Playgrounds – an improvised symphony for bodies, instruments and toys

For the brave and the shy, for the curious and those who want to take part: The fourth and final concert evening as part of the "STOP OVER 2" concert series in the Radialsystem invites you to a culinary and musical experiment. On this summer evening, musicians and audience cook and eat together on the Spree terrace and make different objects sound as part of a participatory game composition.

The Munich string quartet Paranormal String Quartet and the experimental Berlin trio **Y** are the renowned ensembles at the center of the evening. The compositions of Max Andrzejewski and the transdisciplinary curatorial team around Karoline Weidt and Jonas Baur enable playful interaction and exploration of audience, music and space.

The focus of the concert evening is improvisation as a connecting and liberating element. The spontaneous movements of the music acts and the audience through different rooms and different possibilities for individual participation create an expansive, collective concert experience with a game character.

With “STOP OVER 2 – a concert series”, the Radialsystem invited artists from the field of jazz and improvised music to think differently about concerts on four Sundays – and thus to create spaces in which musicians and audiences can meet in a special way and music can be experienced in a new way.

Part of the concert evening is a communal dinner.

In case of rain, the concert evening will take place indoors.
