Actually, it's just a formality: the general meeting of a tennis club in the German provinces is supposed to vote on the purchase of a new grill for the club's celebrations. Normally this wouldn't be a problem - if it weren't for the suggestion to finance a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member. As is well known, devout Muslims are not allowed to put their grilled sausages on a grill with pork.

A well-intentioned idea that brings together atheists and believers, Germans and Turks, "do-gooders" and hardliners, in a way that is as disrespectful as it is funny. And it quickly becomes clear to everyone: it's about much more than just a grill...

“Extrawurst” is a new comedy by the well-known comedy authors Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob, which includes: were already responsible for well-known television formats such as “Die Wochenshow”, “Ladykracher”, “Das Amt” and “Stromberg”.
