Wiener Klassik
"On to Paris!" is the name of the February concert of the classic Philharmonie Bonn in the Berlin Konzerthaus. It starts with Haydn's Symphony No. 83, the "La Poule" ("Das Huhn"), which made the composer known in France.
For the 19th century, Saint-Saëns' first cello concerto, one of the most important works of celloliterature. It is played by cellist Aleksey Shadin, who has already had great success at the Kronberg Academy.
The concert will end with the symphony in C major by Georges Bizet.
