As The Howl & The Hum, Griffiths has spent the better part of the last decade honing his ability for raw, vulnerable storytelling, combined with music that artfully ranges from fingerpicked folk to indie and country to electronica.

Griffiths' musical journey began in his teens with pop punk and indie rock, before finding his own voice after the chance discovery of Bob Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" in his father's record collection. Inspired by Dylan's poetics, Griffiths began performing at open mic events almost every night while studying at York University, gradually building a fanbase drawn to his ability to tell stories about the curious characters of the city's nightlife.

The band evolves through their charismatic live performances, which embody both gentle ballads and explosive self-expression.
