LCOY24, the 7th German climate conference for young people, will take place in Berlin in October 2024. This time it will be even bigger, more diverse and offers numerous networking opportunities with many inspiring people.

LCOY stands for Local Conference of Youth. This non-profit climate conference is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the State of Berlin.

The aim is to bring young people from all areas of society together, to impart knowledge about the climate to them and to enable them to exchange ideas with top-class guests from science, politics and business.

LCOYs are global offshoots of the Conference of Youth (COY), which always take place before the UN climate negotiations. The legal sponsor of LCOY Germany is BUNDjugend.

During LCOY 2024 there will be a wide range of workshops, lectures, simulation games, discussion rounds and a supporting program with music, networking opportunities and games throughout the weekend.

There is also a full English program, so that anyone who understands little or no German can take part in the LCOY.
